The T-type were a range of body-on frame sports convertibles (TA, TB, TC, TD, and TF Midget models) produced by the MG Car Company and later BMC. Not only was it stylish, fast, and fun, but the MG T-type was the car that spurred the British sports car invasion of America. This is the car American servicemen fell in love with during World War II and it’s the car many sought to bring back to the US with them. It spurred a competitive export market among British manufacturers from BMW to Rolls-Royce. While the MG T-type doesn’t have the fame today that these other brands do, the MG TC was really the car that started it all.
