53. Jaguar XJ Series 1968-present United Kingdom

The XJ is Jaguar Cars’ flagship series of full-sized, luxury sedans. It debuted in 1968 and was the last vehicle to have the input of Jaguar’s founder, Sir William Lyons. The car has come to be the luxury manufacturer’s most recognized model, as it has been prominently featured in advertisement and media campaigns. Aside from its beauty, XJ’s have always inspired a sense of sophistication and elegance. The original XJ6 Series 1 was a sleek, high performance four-door saloon. An upmarket was available under the Daimler brand, called the Daimler Sovereign. The XJ12, which was announced in 1972, featured a V12 engine. The XJ12 was, at the time, the only V12 four-dour mass production car in the world.
