14. Mitsubishi Eclipse (Second Generation)

The Mitsubishi Eclipse gained fame after it appeared in the first Fast and Furious movie. The lime green, heavily modified Eclipse depicted in the film inspired many to purchase and modify Eclipses of their own. Even before gaining fame, the Eclipse was a sweet sports car. Available in either front or all-wheel drive, and with some models coming equipped with turbochargers, the Eclipse was a performance machine at a reasonable price. The non turbocharged engines produced 141 horsepower, while the turbocharged GS-T and GSX models produced 210 horsepower. There were also convertible top editions of the Eclipse that used the “Spyder” badge. Much like the Mazda Miata and the Honda Civic, the Eclipse has a plethora of available aftermarket modifications that can be purchased to make it both more powerful and unique.
