12. Nissan 300ZX (Z32)

The Nissan 300ZX was an early generation of the Nissan Z-car. While the Z31 model sold more units, the Z32 model received higher praise. The Z32 was placed on Car and Driver’s ten best list 7 years in a row and it received the Motor Trend award for best import car of the year. The dual overhead cam engine featured variable valve timing and produced 222 horsepower and 198 lb-ft of torque. A turbo variant of the Z32 had a twin turbo setup and produced 300 horsepower and 283 lb-ft of torque. The turbo variant also featured four-wheel steering under the name Super HICAS. The top speed of the Z32 turbo was 155 mph and its zero to sixty time was 5.0 seconds.
