The Hyundai car brand has quietly become one of the top rated and top selling car brands in the world. The total sales for the year came to 767,710 autos representing a 5.0% increase compared to 2014. The increasingly popular brand saw market share increase to 4.4%, and the December sales volume was 63,508 cars which is a decrease of 1.5% from 2014. The Hyundai Sonata was the most popular car model sold by the brand in 2015 with a sales volume of 213,303 cars representing a net decrease in sales of 1.7% for the latest calendar year.
