6. Use Bad Weather to Your Advantage

If bad weather is in the forecast for your local area, use this to your advantage when negotiating with a car dealership. Whether it is snow, high winds, or rain, most consumers will choose to stay home on these days. As a result, you could be one of the few potential customers that walk in to the dealership on that day. The salesperson and their manager may be very anxious to make a sale if they have not had any movement for new sales on the day which will benefit you. Do not push your luck too far with adjusting your initial offer to the dealer for your potential new car, as they will still have a limit that they can drop the price to on the vehicle.
