The 2001 edition of the Mustang Bullitt did not disappoint fans of the iconic vehicle. The new model is one of the fastest Mustangs of all time with a zero to 60 MPH time of just 5.6 seconds. The car is powered by a significantly upgraded 4.6 liter eight cylinder engine rated at 305 lb-ft of torque and 265 horsepower. The car can run the quarter-mile in 14.0 seconds with a top speed of 97.9 MPH and is a big upgrade over the model of the car driven in the 1968 film called Bullitt. Ford only produced 6,000 of the car, and can stop in just 120 feet from 60 MPH. The overall fuel efficiency of the 2001 edition of the Bullitt is rated at 18 MPG (city) and 25 MPG (highway).
