The 1995 Mustang SVT Cobra R was instantly one of the fastest Mustangs ever made when it was first released. The car can go from zero to 60 MPH in 5.2 seconds, and completes the quarter mile in 13.8 seconds at 102 MPH. The car is powered by a 5.8 liter SOHC V-8 engine with 16 valves. The engine is rated at 365 lb-ft of torque and 300 horsepower. With the release of the SVT Cobra R, Ford began to upgrade the overall performance of all Cobra R models that the company would go on to produce. The top speed of the car is 137 MPH, and its fuel efficiency comes in at 17 MPG (city) and 24 MPG (highway).
