5. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution

The Mitsubishi Lancer comes from the factory ready and raring to go as a street race vehicle. Built originally for rally car racing, the Lancer Evolution starts its life as a turbocharged, all-wheel drive beast. Stock is never enough for a tuner though, and the Lancer Evolution is no exception. Larger turbos, upgraded engine internals, aftermarket boost controllers, and more are all common modifications to the already fast Lancer. External modifications are common as well, with all kinds of body kits and wing styles to choose from. The base model Mitsubishi Lancer is also commonly modified by tuners, while the non-evolution model doesn’t sport all the fun stuff from the factory, it doesn’t stop tuners from adding it in aftermarket.
