7. Take Multiple Test Drives

When in the market for a new car, consider taking multiple test drives of the vehicle before making the purchase decision. If one has a family, the first test drive can be by yourself. If the car meets expectations, schedule a subsequent drive with the family to ensure that all of the comfort expectations are being met. If there are young children that will be riding in the vehicle, then bring the car seats to put into the vehicle to make sure that they will fit and provide sufficient room for the remaining auto passengers. Not only will this tactic ensure the entire family will be satisfied with the auto purchase, but it also helps reduce the pressure to make a purchase decision on the first visit to the auto dealer.
