The 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB / 4*S NART Spider is one of the most expensive cars sold at auction. On August 17th, 2013, the car sold for $27,500,000 USD at RM Auctions in Monterey, California. The car was the first Ferrari to have a transaxle, and is powered by a 3.3 liter Colombo 60° V12 engine that is capable of achieving between 280 and 300 horsepower. The 4*S NART Spider version of the car was only sold through American car dealer, Luigi Chinetti. The car was a version of the 275 GTB with no roof, with only 10 being built between 1967 and 1968.
