7. Porsche Cayman

The Porsche Cayman has been on numerous ten best lists for the past few years, yet it can’t seem to have a good sales year. Only 3417 units were sold in 2014, not even half the number of 911’s sold in the same year. It’s a shame because the Cayman is a superior car. The mid-engine chassis gives the Cayman better stability than the rear engine 911. Steering and responsiveness is better in the Cayman as well. The styling is gorgeous on the Cayman, with flowing body lines and an aggressive stance. Outside of the name recognition that the 911 carries it’s a wonder why it outpaces the Cayman in sales the way it does. The Cayman is less expensive than the 911 as well, clocking in around $60,000 for a base model vs the $80,000 911.
