4. BMW 3-series Sports Wagon

While the BMW 3-series sedans continue to crush the competition, the Sports Wagon model continues to perform horribly in sales. A dismal 3687 models were sold in 2014. The BMW X1 outsells the Sports Wagon by more than 5 to 1, and the Sports Wagon is a superior vehicle. Maybe it’s because the Sports Wagon is a station wagon and the US shoppers just don’t want to give it a chance. The Sports Wagon offers all-wheel drive, gas or diesel power, and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The diesel model offers stellar gas mileage, with EPA ratings of 31/43 mpg. On paper this wagon is a luxury version of the popular Subaru wagons that sell so well, but no one is giving it a second look.
