Ford gave their Fusion Energi hybrid a facelift this year and it looks great. With a refreshed, more aggressive exterior and a more efficient drivetrain. The new Fusion Energi is powered by a 2.0L four-cylinder engine mated to an electric motor. The 7.6kWh lithium-ion battery allows the vehicle to travel up to 19 miles in full electric mode and has over 500 miles and it takes a mere 2.5 hours to fully recharge. The Fusion Energi has been on the market for three years and has become a popular vehicle for the company. If the Energi can deliver on the promises that Ford has made, it’s on course to be one of the greenest cars on the market this year.
