4. Ford SVT Lightning

The Ford SVT Lightning was produced from 1993 to 95 and then reintroduced in 1999. Production was stopped in 2004 when it was discontinued. The 99-04 model was equipped with a 380 horsepower V-8 engine that produced 380 lb-ft of torque. The powerful SVT Lightning could rocket to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds and still tow a 5000 pound load and carry 800 pounds of stuff. The top speed of the SVT Lightning was 142 mph. The final drive in the gearbox was shorter than other trucks, giving the SVT Lightning better acceleration. A quarter-mile run for the SVT Lightning took 13.8 seconds, only a little bit slower than the SVT Mustang Cobra at the time which performed the feat at 13.0 seconds
