11. Porsche 911 GT3

The Porsche 911 GT3 made it’s debut in 1999, it was designed to be a high performance version of the popular 911 sports car. The initial 911 GT3 was released devoid of items that added unnecessary weight, to give it better racing performance. Sound deadening was almost completely removed, as were the rear seats, rear loud speakers, sunroof, and air conditioning, although automatic air conditioning and CD/radio became no-cost optional add-ons if you wanted them. The engine was a 3.6 liter 360 horsepower straight six-cylinder. 911 GT3 doesn’t utilize turbos or superchargers to get its horsepower. For customers outside the U.S. that wanted a complete race car experience, Porsche offered a no-cost option called the “Clubsport” package that added a six-point racing harness, fire retardant seats, a partial roll cage, and a fire extinguisher.
