2. 2016 Toyota Highlander

This SUV is an excellent family vehicle with an easy ride. Critics of the 2016 Highlander say that the base model has a poor fuel economy at approximately 20/25 mpg city/highway. The V6 engine has a better economy at 19/25 mpg. Both the four-cylinder and the V6 engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with front-wheel drive. The Highlander has a responsive and even feel when taking corners. The first- and second-row seats are reported to be roomy and comfortable. The rear-row seats are not quite large enough to fit adults, but they offer plenty of space for children. The wide array of storage bins will give joy to the organizer freak and the busy parent. Overall cargo capacity for the Highlander is average for the class.
