The Ford Edge is one of the top crossover SUVs sold today. Ford full redesigned the automobile in the 2015 model year, and the current edition of the Edge features a number of high-end options, a premium interior, and above average handling capability when compared to other models of the same class. The stock engine in the crossover is a 2.0 liter turbo-four cylinder rated at 245 horsepower. Additional drivetrain options include a 3.5 liter V-6 rated at 280 horsepower, and a 2.7 liter twin-turbo V-6 rated at 315 horsepower. All versions of the Edge come standard with front-wheel drive and a six-speed automatic transmission, and consumers have the option to upgrade to all-wheel drive when buying the auto new. The overall gas mileage rating of the vehicle is 20 MPG (city) and 28 MPG (highway), and the crossover can go from zero to 60 MPH in just 8.3 seconds.
