The 2016 Chrysler Town & Country has built on the successes of the 2015 edition of the minivan. The van is powered by a V-6 3.6 liter engine that is rated at 260 ft-lbs of torque and 220 horsepower. The vehicle’s fuel efficiency is rated at 17 MPG (city) and 25 MPG (highway) putting it above average when compared to other minivans on the market today. The drivetrain is coupled to an automatic transmission, and front wheel drive comes stock on all of the 2016 model year options. The company is waiting to confirm all of the standard features on the new edition of the Town & Country; however, it will include those that came stock on the 2015 model year edition of the van to include second-row video screen, six-speaker audio system, rearview camera, and DVD players. It’s expected that the company will include blind spot monitoring and rear parking sensors as stock options for this model year vice making them options as in years past.
