2. Fear Factor Recall- Ford Fusion
Recalls involving family sedans draw fear in the hearts of parents and have been mentioned in the news many times now. Sometimes it turns out to be a warranted fear and other times it’s not so scary. Ford Fusion is a popular family vehicle because of its spacious interior and efficient fuel economy. For the 2014 recall, the anti-theft and rollaway prevention were noncompliant with regulations. This issue hasn’t posed a safety concern, so parents have no reason to worry. However, it’s important to note that Ford issued a consumer advisory in 2010 concerning the 2010 models. The issue involved stuck accelerator pedals, so the Fusion hasn’t been immune to safety problems after all.
